The "pint" of wine you see here was served to us at a local movie theater. The bartender was lovely, had a bright, helpful and welcoming personality. She asked if we wanted a 6oz or 9oz pour naturally we said 9oz (it was a long movie...) She did pick up a wine glass but then hesitated, put it down and poured the wine into a highball instead.
My point? Do not assume that your team know the correct way to do things, do not assume they know about the food, standards or basics unless you teach them and you need to keep teaching them every day. The basics are HARD, and the basics matter. The best in every business train ever. single. day!
